Her body remembered a night-blooming cereus, sweated industry and salt (what came near)
Lauren Printy Currie
The exhibition, in partnership with Glasgow Women’s Library, presented a new body of work by Lauren Printy Currie, derived from her residency at the library. Using the library’s valuable resources – its people, books and archives – Printy Currie observed and absorbed all that this unique and public space has to offer.
With affectionate rigour, this work investigated the rich language, voices and inclusive spaces of Glasgow Women’s Library.
The exhibition was supported by Heritage Lottery Fund and Outset Scotland.
