Spring 2017
EAT SLEEP WORK REPEAT
14th February to 18th June
EAT SLEEP WORK REPEAT departed from the 1978-1980 body of work 'Soul and Feelings of a Worker' by German artist KP Brehmer. Brehmer used collected data and recognisable visual systems, such as graphs and charts, to map the daily emotions of workers from very happy to uneasy.
The exhibition included contemporary artists who look at the industrialised and repetitive effects of the everyday. Tessa Lynch observes her daily journey to her studio. Jamie Green uses the retail industries personal shopping service to 'dress' his sculptures and Amalia Pica makes beautiful drawings from bureaucratic stamps.
EAT SLEEP WORK REPEAT toured throughout Scotland between February and June 2017.
